The Good
- I’ve been tired from trying to balance work and school, but I love being tired.
- I went to get tested in celebration of World Aids Day last week. I was able to get a free test. Came out negative baby!
- Purchased a Wacom Cintiq 12WX, 300$ below the retail price. :)
- Rent and other bills was paid with no issues.
- Hot water running very well this Winter.
- Little sis is down from school for the holidays.

When did Imeem get purchased by Myspace? I log on to load one of my standard playlists to study to and what do I see? Its been purchased by myspace. Even worse, I can’t load my playlists!! Fuck Myspace and Fuck Imeem for being bought by them.

I sat here and watched him give like a million horrible arguments for religion. Why is it always THE SAME FUCKING ARGUMENTS theists give?? The are always fallacious as hell!!
1. Comparing the human race to a fucking car. This is a FALSE ANALOGY, because he is assuming that because two things share a quality, they must have other qualities in common.
I. A car is complex
II. A car has a manual
III. A car has a creator
IV. A human is also complex
V. Therefore, A human has a maunual
VI. Therefore, A human has a creator
FALLACY.
2. NO MORALITY WITHOUT GOD. Bull-fucking-shit. Slippery slope fallacy, The Euthyphro Dilemma (is it pious because the Gods love it or do the gods love it because it is pious?) Love thy neighbor?? BULLSHIT. We bomb our neighbors and slap up homosexuals. More people have been killed for the name of religion than all the non-religious murders combined. There are plenty or morals to follow without God, Aristotelian, Egoism, Restricted Egoism, Utilitarian, take your pick you ass.

Well said. The guy is an idiot (the “hosts” are even worse for saying “Strong Car Analogy”. They should go jump off a bridge). But whats even worse is his claim to be a humanist and subsequent denouncing of the add as “secular humanism” is faulty. First of all, he makes it sound like he lives the “true” humanism and these secular humanists are an offshoot group. As a humanist, I would classify this guy as a religious humanist (based solely on his identification as a humanist, I doubt he’s actually a humanist). Humanism by definition is secular. We don’t see the need for a God. Some of still believe there is one (myself included) but we’d rather focus on humanity.
